Walking in God's Path
Starting the day with Jesus
Welcome to starting your day with Jesus Christ
Last Sunday we had two different sermons by two different preachers. This is why we have two topics to remind you this week.
Topic#1: Walking in God's Path (Biblical Example 2)
Psalm 127New International Version (NIV)
A song of ascents. Of Solomon.
Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain.
In vain you rise early
and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat—
for he grants sleep to[a] those he loves.
Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior
are children born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man
whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame
when they contend with their opponents in court.
Main Points: With God, you can’t labor in vain; your descendants will be like arrows in the hand of a warrior.Your victories (spiritually/physically) become a breakthrough for those coming after you. The next generations’ can now build upon the victories already won.
In Jesus name, we have authority over all the power of the enemy and the spirits are subject to us (Luke 10:19-20).
Our Spiritual Discipline: In your prayer, ask God to help you to establish a legacy that will inspire the next generations positively.
Until tomorrow, stay blessed.
We love you!!!
